The Food Industry encompasses a wide range of companies, all of whom are involved in moving and or processing Food designed to wind up on our Table tops. These products may actually be generated from raw materials, or they may simply involve basic processing and packaging. Whatever the end product, these companies all have one thing in common, they are all moving something from the receiving end of their facilities to their finished goods shipping end of their operations. What happens to the materials moving through this process is what we at TnT Handling are all about. We move the raw materials, be it in boxes, drums, bags, totes etc??? via lifting devices, aid in the processing of the actual raw materials, facilitate packing and palletizing, and offer equipment to get the palletized goods back to the loading docks for their trip to market. Cart Transport Systems:

TnT offers a wide range of Battery Operated Cart options. Each is designed to suit a custom manufacturing niche, from taking the full pallet at receiving to in-line production requirements all the way through to final palletizing and final shipping requirements. Some of the key product functions:

Crane Systems:

TnT Crane system offerings offer the ability to cover small targeted depalletizing applications to suit mixing operations, or larger warehousing applications to suit order picking operations. Cranes are offered in carbon steel, aluminum & stainless, depending on the level or protection required in the application area, in design selections as follows:

• Free Standing Straight arm Jibs in a range of capacities

Manipulators:

TnT offers a range of manipulators readily suited to the heavier duty requirements found in many Food Plant Operations. Liquids and additives, stored in 55 gallon drums, often require lifting and pouring, trailer loads of Coffee Beans require the movement of bags often in excess of 150 lbs. to be offloaded and moved throughout Processing Facilities, among many other difficult material handling tasks made effortless with this equipment. Systems are available in the following designs, in carbon steel, steel-it painted finish and stainless:

• Portable, and low profile systems for truck unloading and flexible usage requirements
• Column mounted systems for operations centered near existing building columns

Powder Handling:

TnT offers a range of Powder Process Equipment designed for moving raw materials into the various Food Plant mixing operations. There is quite often times a challenge, especially with difficult to handle and hazardous materials (Exp risk items in particular) and volume throughput requirements that can create Health and Safety hazards for employees. Whether it be moving free flowing coffee beans through opening systems at several thousand pounds a minute, or mitigating explosion proof risks in Flour and Sugar handling applications, our equipment offerings have solutions to assist.
